The Solution

STREAMLINED CERTIFICATION

Stok followed the client’s portfolio-level scorecard and LEED strategy to ensure a streamlined certification approach on a project-by-project basis. The team also upgraded credit thresholds to pursue LEED v4.1 substitutions across several credit categories, then incorporated lessons learned from each project to inform improvements to the client’s master plan of record and sustainability standard.

MATERIALS VETTING

Stok vetted all materials through the client’s Healthy and Sustainable Materials Program, which requires products to comply with rigorous requirements around environmental and health impact transparency, responsible sourcing, embodied carbon reduction, and avoidance of targeted chemicals of concern.

TRAINING THE TEAM

Stok’s LEED consulting services include design and specification reviews, design team education, in-depth GC and subcontractor sustainability training, submittal reviews, LEED credit calculations, and documenting and submitting all LEED credits on the LEED Online platform.
